I won the regular season in both of my expert leagues last year. Thought i would share some tips that have helped me achieve consistent success.

- In the later rounds of the draft load up on high potential backup running backs. Look for ones who would be a clear bell cow in a good offense if the starter went down. I do this every year and each season one or two of these guys pop

- look two week ahead for steaming D. Roster two defenses at all times, picking up a streaming D from the waiver wire with the target of starting them two weeks from now. All other owners only look one week ahead, so they will pay too many blind bidding points for a D with a good matchup. Meanwhile, since you are looking two weeks ahead, you can get a defense for the minimum bid

- target players who have already had Covid to lower chance of covid related absences on your roster

- mock draft from every position. If youre doing kds drafting this will help you decide on the best spot. It also allows you to develop basic team compilation strategies from each pick.

- schedule matter. Playoff schedule really matters. Understand which players have the softest and most difficult playoff matchups when drafting

Where do you think the guy in your avatar should go? Difficult on the playoff scheduling now as if I knew the difficulty of the match-ups, I'd be heavily invested in futures. I think the back-up running back option is solid as there are always plenty of good receivers, and now tight ends, to pick up on a weekly as-needed basis. Thanks for the notes.

Murray has a legit chance to end the year as the QB 1, but i don't draft Qbs early

Weapons galore, excellent rushing ability, and the most important aspect for a fantasy QB- a garbage defense

I won my league last year even though my team was rather mediocre. I had Jameis Winston though.

I wonder who will be the Jameis Winston of this year, the garbage player but fantasy force that wins people their leagues.

Look for the worst defense in the league. Thats really the key. Mahomes two years ago, winston last year. Constantly involved in shootouts because the D cant stop anyone

Value is everything. For example Ju Ju. Overvalued laat year but now clearly undervalued

Find the undervalued and avoid the overvalued and youre a + roster

Our league is getting ready to start our 43rd year...started in 1978..first few years we had to see the morning papers to find out who scored Sunday late games..80% of the guys who started in 78 are still in league
